I started skateboarding at the age of 15. My older brother was a very good skateboarder and was even sponsored by company, they nicknamed him “Brown” because he looked like the pro freestyle skater Don Brown. It was natural when I became a well know freestyle skater that they called me “Brownzinho” (Little Brown). Now I encourage and teach beginners the basics of skateboarding and freestyle. I am also a member of the Freestyle Committee of the Brazilian Confederation of Skateboarding (CBSk).
I competed in many the Brazilian Championships in the 1990’s. In 1992 I came in 5th place in the Pro Division at the Brazilian Championships in Londrina. In 2005 I placed 2nd in the Pro Division at the Brazilian Championships at the Chorao Skatepark. I competed at the World Freestyle Championships in both 2006 and 2008 both held here in Brazil and I am currently ranked in 5th place in the Brazilian Ranking for 2013.
