I live in Sweden, “The land of IKEA,” but the only thing from IKEA in my home are four glasses. I am hoping to continue my education in economics and entrepreneurship, but I am currently working at a jail for teenagers with drug-related problems. I also do some fashion modelling on the side and am social support worker at a home for refugees from Afghanistan and Syria. When I am not at work I run skateboarding schools for kids and collecting stuff especially coins and old Nintendo games. I also love to travel, workout at the gym, arm wrestling, go to parties and meet as many of those lovely Swedish ladies as I can.. I was thinking back to when I first got started in skateboarding 19 years ago, I had seen a few Rodney Mullen videos which perked my interest but had no idea as to how to do any of his tricks. Then I came across some skateboard books from the late ’80s that had a section on freestyle showing how to do several of tricks, I started to try to do some of them and really got hooked. The three skaters who have influenced my freestyle carrier the most are Rodney, Guenter Mokulys, and Stefan Johansson, and of course, I can’t forget my old Ikea traveling buddy, Lillis. I have taken what I have learned from them and I am passing it along by teaching kids how to freestyle. I have been to every World Round-Up since it started in 2012, it is sort of a tradition. I have also been lucky to have been at four other world championships as well. This will be my sixth year as a pro, I was really looking forward to going to Vancouver to compete in this year’s contest as it just keeps getting bigger and bigger drawing freestylers from all over the world. Unfortunately because of the Coronavirus situation I will just have to settle with entering the Online Showdown. RECENT CONTEST HISTORY:
