TRUCK BROKE UNABLE TO COMPETE
From: Mackay, Idaho, USA
Division: Amateur
Sponsored by: Minthol Coper Co.
Age: 16
Skating: 4 years

When I was about 12, my brother got me a cheap Ebay complete board, I barely got a few months out of it when the front truck snapped in half. While I was riding that thing I discovered a video by Kuma Films of Isamu, after that I was hooked on freestyle as a whole. I rode a Walmart complete for a while until I bought a blank decomposed single kick which I skated until it was just a wheelbase, I’m still shredding but I’m on and off the board due to a bad ankle history that predates skating. Two of my good friends, Tim Armstrong and Brendan Hoppe keep me in the loop about skate/life and give me advice consistently which has really helped out. I also get inspiration from Pete Betti and Takashi Suzuki who are two of my mentors right now.

I am currently going to High School and work a couple of odd jobs for spending money. When I am not skating I like to dabble in graphic design which I hope to do full time at some point, I also build vivariums and raise spiders and insects. Musically I’m just picking up the drums. This will be my first freestyle contest, unless you count the time I won 10 bucks from a friend.
