Contest Head Judge

We are very pleased to announce that professional skateboarder Russ Howell will fill the position of Head Judge at this years WORLD Round-Up. Russ has an incredible understanding of the basics of Freestyle and has been a judge at numerous CASL and IDASL amateur events as well as judging for NSA professional contests. He is also one of the founding fathers of Freestyle and many of his signature handstand tricks are staples even today. An active freestyle competitor for many years he holds the world record for 360’s, 163 spins and the Guinness World Record Holder for the longest handstand on a skateboard. In 2017 Russ was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall Of Fame. He is the sports most enduring ambassador, making TV appearances on Johnny Carson, Good Morning America, Tom Snyder as well as appearing on the quiz show To Tell The Truth. A cowboy at heart, Russ is really looking forward to coming to the Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair again and heading up the Judging Committee at the WORLD Round-Up.
