“I started skating with some friends of mine years ago, then I discovered some freestyle skateboarding videos on Youtube that really amazed me. Watching Killian Martin videos, who is also from Spain inspired me as did videos of Masahiro Fujii, Bert Mathieson and of course Rodney Mullen. Since then I have been practicing and learning freestyle skateboarding. One of the things I have tried to put into my freestyle routines is my own style of handstands. I was never a gymnast, but after learning some handstand tricks I became very interested in artistic gymnastics training in order to improve those kind of freestyle tricks. I want to contribute to the growth of the freestyle skateboarding scene”.
I am currently attending the University of A Coruña where I am studying Sport Sciences and Physical Activity, and I am also the gymnast coach for the club of my university.
Going to Canada to compete at the World Round-Up was something I was really looking forward to, but then the Coronavirus epidemic hit and has changed all of our lives. Hope to make it next year.
